Our Life in Numbers

1500
How much scholarship money we received between the two of us last night. We are very excited about this. That's a few months rent right there.

10
Days until we leave for the summer. We are so anxious to be back in the States and see everyone.

3
First word of a sweet band I saw in concert the other night (3 Season Ant). They put on a show at BBC so we ended youth early and took the high school youth group to it.

2
Bedrooms in our apartment next year. Yes, we got into the townhouses. It will be so nice to be on campus next year.

Also the number of majors I now have. That's right, I added a global major to my youth major. God's really been opening my eyes to the endless opportunities of youth ministry overseas. We will now be spening our 6 month internship somewhere overseas. We're very excited to se what God has in store for us.

1
More year in Canada. Because of my double major, I will have to be in school at least one more semester--probably two though.

That's what's been going on here. much love becky

More Hair

Some of you have been asking me what my hair used to look like. That is a fiar question because most people who have met me in the last year have never seen me with short, blonde hair. This post is for all of you. These are some pictures of what my hair used to look like and will soon look like again. much love becky

Sunset

Sussex has some of the best sunsets I've seen, and up the hill on campus has some of the best shots. We're not usually around campus during sunset, but we were tonight so I brought the camera. Here's the picture. much love becky

Chris Swarthout...This One's for You

Yes, it has been over a week, but we have been a lot busier than normal here in Canada. The end of the semester has brought extra services with International Missions Convention Week, meetings, banquets, and of course an endless load of papers, projects, and tests. So, we do have an excuse for not posting. The last few months have been a lot of fun and we have met some amazing friends, but we are more than ready to be back in the US for a while. We'll be packin' up soon. We're still waiting to hear back on a few things regarding our living conditions next year and when we'll have to be back (I have to be back early for student counsel). Next week is the scholarship ceremony deal. We're hoping to get some money in that. There's just been a lot of stuff jumbled together lately. We leave the 24th, after Jeff's last final. We are for sure dropping a friend of in New York City and may be bringing another to Bangor, Maine if we have enough room. Then we're heading to Oklahoma for a week, then Austin for a weekend, and then finally up north for the summer.

As I mentioned above, this last week was missions week. There's some stuff regarding missions that has been on our hearts, especially mine lately...starting before this whole missions week. We're not quite sure where it's all going to lead, but by next week we should have at least a little something figured out. So, when that happens, I will fill you all in on more of all that.

Tonight we went to Natasha Erskine's senior recital. I knew she could sing, but WOW, she blew me away. She is absolutely amazing. She surprised Lynn, her husband, with a song she wrote for him. It was really powerful. It's so cool to me how God blesses us with someone to love for a lifetime. Marriage is sweet.

Back to some homework. Have a great day. much love becky
